The company is seeking a Senior Piping Engineer for a PMC (Project Management Consultancy) project based in the UAE Office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of piping engineering tasks within offshore oil and gas projects, contributing to the overall objectives of the project.
Responsibilities
- Oversee piping design and engineering tasks in accordance with project specifications and standards.
- Provide technical expertise concerning piping materials and layouts to meet project requirements.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integration of piping systems with other facility components.
- Review and approve plot plans, ensuring compliance with relevant offshore project requirements.
- Supervise brownfield modifications and provide solutions for operational efficiencies.
- Ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Minimum of 15+ years of overall experience in oil and gas projects.
- At least 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry with a strong focus on offshore projects.
- Proven experience in brownfield modifications.
- In-depth knowledge of piping material and layout required for project execution.
- Strong technical understanding of piping-related aspects related to pipeline-connected facilities (plot plan, associated facilities).
- Demonstrated understanding of offshore platforms and relevant plot development philosophies.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in offshore projects.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in PMC projects.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
