About the Job:
The company is looking for a Jr Applications Support & Maintenance Engineer to provide solution support and maintenance services. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation, support, and maintenance of various components in the issuance solution. This role involves working closely with customer support and operation teams to resolve reported issues, respond to incidents in a timely manner, and perform system health checks. The engineer will validate and deploy new software releases, monitor system performance proactively, and carry out preventive maintenance.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Handle operation, support, and maintenance of the issuance solution.
- Collaborate with customer support and operation teams to resolve tickets and issues.
- Respond to incidents and close tickets within SLA times for response and resolution.
- Collect data and generate reports for management and customers.
- Perform periodic system health checks and update status as necessary.
- Validate and deploy new software releases.
- Monitor systems proactively to foresee potential issues and propose solutions.
- Perform preventive maintenance on the system.
- Document all support incidents and resolutions in the local support portal.
Work Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience required.
Qualification, Certification, and Educational Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field.
Preferred Skills:
- Fluent in English (Written and Oral).
- Native Arabic speaker.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience with software development in enterprise technologies (J2EE, .NET, Web services).
- Proficiency in SQL development.
- Knowledge of application servers.
- IT capabilities & knowledge (Windows, Linux).
- Basic scripting knowledge (DOS, Power Shell, Bash).
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of Smart Card technology, personalization & cryptography concepts.
- Basic knowledge of computer networks.
- Concepts of IT Service Management.
