Location: Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (Remote)
Work Conditions:
- Fully remote position
- Opportunity to travel for 2 to 4 weeks per year for internal and external events
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deliver, and support features in a highly concurrent and distributed system focused on cloud automation and software operations.
- Collaborate proactively with a distributed team.
- Debug issues and engage with upstream communities.
- Work alongside talented engineers to discuss ideas and solutions.
Requirements:
- Experience developing software using Go.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Strong academic background from high school and preferably university.
- Willingness to travel up to 4 times a year for internal events.
Additional Skills (Preferred):
- Experience with container technologies (Docker, LXD, Kubernetes).
- Solid networking background.
- Familiarity with agile software development methodologies and the Linux open-source environment.
- Understanding of cloud computing and experience with configuration management software (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Contributions to open-source projects and prior experience developing plugins for Terraform.
