A detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant is needed to support daily accounting and finance operations within the insurance industry in Dubai, UAE. The successful candidate will assist with bookkeeping, financial transaction processing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, expense monitoring, and financial reporting while maintaining accurate accounting records and supporting the finance team. This opportunity is suitable for candidates with experience or qualifications relevant to Junior Accountant, Insurance Accounts Assistant, Accounting Assistant, Finance Assistant, or Junior Accounts Executive roles. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of accounting principles and an interest in insurance accounting, premium records, commission reconciliation, policy-related transactions, and financial administration.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily accounting operations, bookkeeping, and financial recordkeeping for insurance-related business activities.
- Record financial transactions, journal entries, receipts, payments, and business expenses accurately in the accounting system.
- Support accounts payable operations by verifying supplier invoices, processing payment documentation, and tracking outstanding liabilities.
- Assist with accounts receivable activities, including recording incoming payments, preparing invoices, and monitoring outstanding balances.
- Maintain accurate records of insurance premiums received, policy-related payments, refunds, and other authorized financial transactions.
- Assist with recording and reconciling insurance commission payments, broker commissions, and related financial entries.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience as a Junior Accountant, Accounts Assistant, Accounting Assistant, Finance Assistant, or Junior Accounts Executive is an advantage.
- Experience in an insurance company, insurance brokerage, financial services organization, or corporate accounting department is desirable.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, debit and credit entries, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance.
- Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, invoice processing, and financial reporting.
