Key Accountabilities
General Characteristics:
- Perform designated audit areas of scheduled audits in line with the approved GIA Methodology.
- Support GIA Management in delivering the approved GIA plan.
Representative Activities:
- Understand the Planning Document.
- Execute and provide updates for the Audit Program.
- Complete assigned areas in fieldwork as per the audit program, schedule, and budget.
- Conduct audits in accordance with GIA Methodology, ensuring comprehensive audit coverage and quality.
- Prepare and complete audit work papers, evidence, and documents in the Audit Management System for review by the Lead Auditor/Head of Audit.
- Discuss and prepare comprehensive audit findings to hand over to the Lead Auditor.
- Support the Lead Auditor in reviewing actions recommended for closure and monitoring of audit action plans, providing recommendations accordingly.
- Adhere to personal goals and KPIs set for the role.
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by GIA Management as necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in commerce, accounting, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Preferred qualifications/certifications: CIA, CPA, ACCA, ACA.
- Good communication skills (both written and verbal).
