Junior Auditor

About the Role
As a Junior Auditor, you will perform internal audits assigned by the company Management. Your role will involve assisting in audit planning, conducting fieldwork, reporting, maintaining work papers, and following up on corrective action plans. You will also support fellow auditors with their daily tasks as required.

Key Accountabilities
Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Performing designated audit areas of scheduled audits in line with the approved GIA Methodology.
• Supporting company Management to deliver the approved GIA plan.

Representative Activities

• Understand the Planning Document.
• Execute and provide updates for the Audit Program.
• Complete the areas assigned in fieldwork as per the audit program, schedule, and budget.
• Conduct audits according to GIA Methodology, ensuring comprehensive audit coverage and adherence to quality standards.
• Prepare and complete audit work papers, evidence, and documents in the Audit Management System for review by the Lead Auditor/Head of Audit.
• Prepare/discuss audit findings thoroughly and hand them over to the Lead Auditor.
• Assist the Lead Auditor in reviewing actions recommended for the closure and monitoring of audit action plans and provide recommendations accordingly.
• Adhere to goals and KPIs set for your performance.
• Undertake any additional tasks as assigned by company Management when necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in commerce, Accounting, or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Preferred Qualifications/Certifications: CIA/CPA/ACCA/ACA.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
