Junior Civil Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Civil and Structural Engineer with 1 to 6 years of experience to join the Industry & Energy Division. The ideal candidate will have experience in Engineering Design roles, specifically in industrial projects from an Engineering/Design perspective.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Main descriptions of the job position in KSA office:

• CSA project development covering Basic Design and Detail Design, with familiarity in NEON standards.
• Development of civil and structural calculations that include:
  • Knowledge of local and international codes.
  • Steel and concrete structural design for industrial plants.
  • Design, analysis, and calculations of foundations for buildings, equipment, etc.
  • Proficiency in structural design software packages (preferably SAP 2000).
  • Geotechnical knowledge.
• Support business growth across various functions.

ABOUT YOU

• BSc or MSc Degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering from a recognized university.
• 1 to 6 years of experience in industrial projects, with mandatory background from the Engineering/Design perspective.
• Up-to-date knowledge of structural software, particularly SAP 2000.
• Advanced level of English and Arabic; preferably, native level of Arabic.
• Basic knowledge of Spanish Language is a plus.
• Strong report writing skills, social skills, communication abilities, teamwork capabilities, problem-solving skills, autonomy, flexibility, and technical rigor.
• Based in Riyadh and willing to undertake business trips.
• Valid SCE membership with classification matching years of work experience.
• Open to working in a multinational environment.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• An IELTS Score of 5.5 or equivalent is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel both within and outside the Kingdom is desirable.
