We are seeking a Junior Cloud Field Engineer to support global companies in adopting the latest private cloud infrastructure, Linux operations, and open-source applications. In this role, you will work as a Linux and cloud solutions architect, designing private and public cloud solutions tailored to customer needs. Responsibilities will also include deploying, testing, and handing over solutions to our support or managed services teams, as well as developing Kubernetes operators and Linux infrastructure-as-code using Python.
Responsibilities:
- Work across the entire Linux stack, from kernel to applications.
- Design and deliver open-source code using Python.
- Architect cloud infrastructure solutions, including OpenStack, Kubernetes, and others in various environments (On-Premises or in Public Cloud).
- Coach and develop colleagues on insights gained.
- Foster a healthy, collaborative engineering culture aligned with company values.
- Travel up to 25% for internal and external events.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related software engineering experience.
- Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and technologies (Kubernetes, OpenStack, AWS, GCP, Azure, Ceph).
- Practical experience with Linux and networking.
- Intermediate to advanced Python programming skills.
- Dynamic personality with a passion for problem-solving and collaboration.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
- Strong organizational skills with a reliable follow-up on commitments.
- (Optional) Proficiency in a second language.
