We are seeking a Junior Cloud Field Engineer to join our team. This role entails working as Linux and cloud solutions architects for our customers, designing private and public cloud solutions tailored to their workload needs. Responsibilities include deploying and testing technologies like Linux Ubuntu, OpenStack, and Kubernetes, as well as developing Kubernetes operators and Linux open-source infrastructure-as-code using Python.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work across the entire Linux stack, including kernel, networking, storage, and applications.
- Utilize Python to design and deliver open source code.
- Architect cloud infrastructure solutions such as OpenStack, Kubernetes, Ceph, and others in on-premises or public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Provide coaching and development to colleagues.
- Foster a collaborative engineering culture in line with company values.
What We Are Looking For:
- A university degree in Computer Science or related software engineering field.
- Sound knowledge of cloud computing concepts and technologies, including Kubernetes, OpenStack, AWS, GCP, Azure, and Ceph.
- Practical experience with Linux and networking.
- Intermediate to advanced Python programming skills.
- A proactive individual with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for learning.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Strong organizational skills with a reliable follow-up on commitments.
