Junior Data Engineer (Fresh Graduate)

As a Junior Data Engineer, you will help build and maintain data pipelines and integration processes. You will support data quality checks and assist in investigating and fixing data issues. This role involves working with data catalogs and metadata tools to enhance data visibility and accessibility. Collaborating with business teams to understand their data needs and help deliver effective solutions is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Learn and apply data governance practices, including privacy and compliance requirements.
• Assist with documenting data flows and keeping records current.
• Explore new tools, technologies, and best practices in the data field.

Requirements:

• Recent graduate in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of database operations, including experience with SQL and familiarity with relational databases.
• Exposure to data concepts like ETL, data warehouses, or data modeling.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to tackle technical challenges.
• Effective communication skills for interaction with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Eagerness to learn and grow, demonstrating curiosity and initiative.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
• Familiarity with data tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Informatica, or Talend is advantageous.
• Basic understanding of data governance or data privacy concepts.
