Location: Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia
Work Conditions: On-site, Full-time
Key Accountabilities:
- Assist the project engineer in preparing technical specifications and site estimations, and liaise with subcontractors to prepare offers.
- Familiarity with the design of substations, switchgear, cable sizing, and scheduling.
- Proficient in reading technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Demonstrate problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Thorough knowledge of electrical design standards.
- Participate in project management by monitoring site execution, cost control, and resource allocations.
- Assist in the preparation of method statements and risk assessments.
- Provide technical and engineering support to the line manager.
- Prepare technical inspection reports and document projects during the final handover, addressing punch list works and resource/cost allocation.
- Assist with design reviews and product development in electrifications and hybridizations.
- Ensure compliance with the company's health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:
- Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
- Fresh graduates or those with up to 1 year of experience are encouraged to apply.
- Technical knowledge of electrical design related to switchgear and transformers.
- Knowledge of crane control systems (PLC, Drives) is optional.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
Language Requirements:
Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
