As a Junior HPC Engineer, you will provide technology consulting to external customers and internal project teams. Your responsibilities include delivering technical support and leadership in developing technology solutions that meet customer business needs. You will act as a trusted advisor, maintaining effective customer relationships to ensure satisfaction. This role involves shaping technical strategies within the organization and for our clients, contributing to the company’s solutions portfolio, and generating new business opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver assigned tasks within the project delivery cycle.
- Understand various company technologies to provide technical systems management support.
- Perform systems configurations, troubleshoot issues, monitor performance, and contribute to technical solution designs.
- Work under supervision, maintain professional relationships with customers, and participate in team activities.
- Stay informed about company strategies and knowledge tools, participating in relevant professional communities.
Education and Experience Required:
- 1 - 3 years of technical experience, with an Associate of Arts/Science degree (or equivalent) in computer science or a related field.
- Alternatively, 2 - 4 years of relevant technical experience in the HPC space may suffice without a degree.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Technical knowledge to assist with HPC Systems and support.
- Ability to communicate HPC concepts effectively.
- Capability to produce basic documentation to required standards.
- Understanding of assigned disciplines and fundamental technical knowledge.
