Responsibilities:
- Respond to and resolve IT support requests from employees or clients.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
- Provide guidance to users on basic IT-related queries.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software.
- Perform routine system updates, backups, and performance monitoring.
- Support the setup and maintenance of local area networks (LANs) and wireless networks.
- Assist in troubleshooting connectivity issues and ensuring network security protocols are followed.
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets, incidents, and resolutions.
- Document IT processes and procedures for future reference.
- Provide regular updates to senior IT staff on ongoing tasks.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to address technical needs.
- Assist in implementing new IT projects or system upgrades.
Required Skills:
- 0-2 years of experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
- Familiarity with networking concepts (IP addresses, DNS, routers, etc.).
- Knowledge of common software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desired Skills:
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles.
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar entry-level IT certifications.
- Experience with documentation and reporting tools.
Language Requirements:
Fluency in Arabic is preferred, as this role requires communication with local clients and employees.
