Junior IT Support Technician

As a Junior IT Support Technician, your role will be to install, maintain, repair, and service various computer devices, BRS scan guns, and BRS systems used within Emirates Group to maintain the performance levels of the business units.

In this role, you will:

• Conduct site preparation to complete installation of computer devices and BRS equipment within set time frame.
• Carry out necessary infrastructure jobs to complete the desktop and telephone installations.
• Configure and deploy new RF BRS scan guns maintenance.
• Conduct the maintenance and servicing of the BRS equipment cyclically followed by workshop bench testing to improve equipment uptime.
• Provide support to engineers and Sr. Technicians for installation of new equipment, and repair and servicing of faulty equipment.
• Provide second-level support on BRS PC scan servers and wired scan guns installed at the Airport.
• Conduct basic checks on reported faulty equipment to enable speedy replacement.

To be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements:

• 3 years of experience in Information Technology with Data Cabling expertise. You will have an edge if you have:
• Experience in desktop servicing, installation, and cabling of LAN/WAN related network.
• Knowledge of tools such as cable tester, crimping tools, and multimeter.
• Working knowledge of PCs and office tools (e.g., MS Word and Email).
