Position

At IFS, as a Junior Presales Consultant, you will collaborate with account teams, prospects, and existing customers to qualify and scope requirements, helping them understand how IFS ERP, EAM, and Service Management Solutions will deliver positive outcomes for their organization. You will engage in close dialogue with external stakeholders, including technical management and architectural teams, positioning IFS as the partner of choice for adopting and enabling IFS solutions in key industry verticals.

Our customers typically consist of mid to large enterprises in six key verticals: Aerospace & Defense, Energy/Utilities & Resources, Manufacturing, Engineering/Construction & Infrastructure, Service, and Telecoms. This role requires industry knowledge in some of these sectors to act as a trusted advisor and key technology ambassador, positioning our key solutions effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be a strong voice for our customers, bringing technical, industry, and business acumen to the forefront to meet their needs.
  • Establish a deep understanding of customers’ business and technical requirements.
  • Develop a solution architecture framework to support enterprise-level solution selling.
  • Help define system and application architecture, while anticipating and solving problems across the landscape.
  • Support change across large platforms/functional areas using technology solutions.
  • Provide software/hardware technical architecture expertise to ensure proper solution design.
  • Interface with all Pre-Sales Solutions Architects globally to build a community and provide training and mentorship on the new solution architecture framework.
  • Provide coverage for key customer-facing events.
  • Integrate architecture views with a provocative selling model.

Qualifications

  • 1 to 2 years+ of experience in presales consulting or software presales/delivery.
  • Understanding of ERP and/or Enterprise Asset Management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and influence solution direction to both technical and non-technical audiences across all organizational levels.
  • Ability to deliver compelling product demonstrations.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, science, engineering, technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong problem-solving and creative skills, with sound judgment and decision-making abilities based on market and customer trends.
  • Resilient, proactive, and inquisitive nature.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50% or more.
  • Fluency in English & Arabic is essential.

Additional Information

  • Understanding of Artificial Intelligence is preferred.
