The position is an individual contributor role that assumes responsibility for the sales of a range of security screening systems for designated market verticals.

Summary of Essential Functions
The Junior Sales Manager plays a crucial role in driving sales growth, customer acquisition, and retention within the assigned territory, while ensuring compliance with corporate ethics and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Uphold the company Code of Corporate Responsibility and Business Ethics in all activities.
  • Close new business with new and existing customers.
  • Meet or exceed the sales quota assigned for the territory.
  • Create and manage an annual Sales Plan for the assigned market vertical, including qualitative and quantitative information to identify sales opportunities.
  • Provide strategic inputs regarding market and business drivers to the Senior Sales Manager and participate in annual sales budget setting.
  • Report sales numbers and ensure accuracy of sales data in SAP for the assigned market vertical, including timely and accurate reporting.
  • Explore new opportunities for customer acquisition and tap into profitable business opportunities.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and key client retention.
  • Coordinate proactively across all departments to ensure smooth business operations.
  • Collaborate with the Programs team for efficient and profitable project completion.
  • Manage all aspects of the sales process, such as:
    • Prospecting and identifying potential customers.
    • Building and managing relationships with existing/new customers.
    • Arranging and conducting product demonstrations.
    • Participating in trade exhibitions and conferences.
    • Creating quotations for customers/prospects.
    • Contributing to major proposals for the territory.
    • Participating in product/sales skills training as required.
    • Engaging in internal sales meetings.
    • Complying with company health, safety, and environmental policies.
    • Ensuring compliance with all applicable export/import control and security regulations.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by the Senior Sales Manager as required.

Qualifications

  • Education/Training:
    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Experience:
    • 2 to 5 years of professional experience in Sales/Marketing or Business Development, specifically in selling capital intensive technology products/solutions, preferably within homeland security-related systems.
    • Experience in selling to markets such as Aviation, Ports & Borders, Urban Security, and Defence.
    • Background in a process-driven and disciplined sales organization.
  • Knowledge/Skills:
    • Self-motivated and proactive in managing a sales territory.
    • Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with customers, partners, and prospects.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present information to large groups.
    • Fluency in Arabic is preferred.

Other Job Requirements

  • Travel is required on average 50% of the month.
  • Ability to think strategically and develop strategic plans.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a multicultural work environment.

Work Environment

  • The primary workstation may be in an office setting or at a home office. Frequent travel to internal SD offices, customer and/or prospect offices, or trade shows will be expected.
