Junior Site Reliability Engineer

We are seeking a Junior Site Reliability Engineer with 1–3 years of experience. In this role, you will be responsible for the following:

• Assist in building, maintaining, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines across Azure DevOps, GitHub, and GitLab.
• Automate routine operational and deployment tasks using Ansible and scripting (Bash/Python).
• Support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) implementations using Terraform on Azure Cloud.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Perform system administration tasks across Linux and Windows environments, including troubleshooting infrastructure and network issues.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability using logging and alerting tools.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to streamline release processes and improve deployment efficiency.
• Maintain and update technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.
• Handle client interactions and support requests with a calm, professional, and solution-oriented approach, including during high-pressure or escalated situations.

• Technical Skills:
  • Cloud: Azure
  • CI/CD: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI
  • Containers & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift
  • Infrastructure as Code: Terraform
  • Configuration Management: Ansible
  • Operating Systems: Linux, Windows
  • Scripting: Bash, Python (basic)
  • Monitoring & Logging: (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK – optional)
• Nice to Have:
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (DNS, Load Balancing, VPCs)
  • Familiarity with security best practices and secrets management
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum environments
