As part of the Observability team, you will develop a cloud-native monitoring stack composed of best-in-class open-source monitoring tools. This stack is designed to be resilient, scalable, and user-friendly, providing deep insights right out of the box. You will monitor applications across various cloud technologies, including Kubernetes and OpenStack, as well as bare-metal, virtual machines, and containers.

Location: Remote (Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia)
Work Conditions:
- Fully remote working environment.
- Global travel required 2 to 4 weeks a year for internal and external events.
- Collaborate proactively with a distributed team.
- Write, test, and document high-quality code.
- Review code from colleagues and attend conferences representing Canonical.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, STEM, or a similar field.
- Proficient in Python, with experience in open source preferred.
- Working knowledge of Go.
- Interest and experience in Ubuntu Linux, container images, Debian packaging, snap, and distributed systems.
