As a Junior Developer, you will have the opportunity to work on monitoring applications running on various technologies, including Kubernetes, OpenStack, bare-metal, virtual machines, and containers. You will also interact with multiple data sources to enhance the contextualization of collected telemetry and insights.
Work Conditions:
- Remote position based in the EMEA and Americas regions.
- Collaborate with a globally distributed team.
- Work from home with global travel required for 2 to 4 weeks for internal and external events.
- Participate in conferences to represent the company and the Charmed Observability Stack.
What We Are Looking For:
- Proven track record in Python and/or Go.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, STEM, or a related field.
- Interest and experience in open source technology, Linux, Kubernetes, and observability.
- Ability to write, test, and document high-quality code, debug issues, and engage with a vibrant community.
- Preference for candidates with knowledge of technologies such as Ubuntu Linux, container images, Debian packaging, and distributed systems.
Language Requirements:
- Proficiency in English (additional languages may be a plus but are not specified).
