As a Software Engineer, you will play a leadership role in designing, mentoring, reviewing, and coding. Responsibilities include ensuring Multipass is user-friendly, architecting new features, writing high-quality code, reviewing code and architecture, collaborating with a distributed team, debugging issues, and fostering the open source community.

Work Conditions:

  • This is a remote position available in the EMEA region only.
  • Opportunity to travel internationally for up to two weeks, twice a year, for company events.

Language Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills in English (both verbal and written).

What We Are Looking For:

  • Cross-platform development experience on macOS and/or Windows.
  • Expertise in modern C++ development.
  • Experience with software testing and test-driven development.
  • High standards for code quality, testing, and design.
  • Knowledge of hypervisor technologies (e.g., Hyper-V, VirtualBox, KVM, QEMU).
  • Open source experience and involvement.
  • Knowledge of CI systems is a plus.
  • Capacity to learn quickly about new systems and techniques.
  • Bachelor’s or equivalent in Computer Science, STEM, or similar degree.
