Job Description
- Experience in deploying servers and installing Confluent Kafka.
- Develop and maintain Kafka-related tools, utilities, and automation scripts to streamline deployment, monitoring, and management tasks.
- Develop automation scripts in Ansible or Terraform.
- Experience in automating scripts to start/stop the broker, back up log files, and manage certification installation and other platform activities.
- Experience with streaming data processing frameworks in Kafka Streams.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies, particularly GKE.
- Experience with cloud platforms, specifically Google Anthos environment.
- Relevant certifications such as Confluent Certified Developer or Confluent Certified Administrator are preferred.
- Working experience in database technology for both NoSQL and SQL databases.
- Establish scalable implementation of data management frameworks, platforms, and tool stacks.
- Good knowledge of developing, implementing, and managing BAU operational processes for data quality functionality, including Data Quality Statistics, Data Quality Scorecards, Data Quality Analysis, and Workflows Design.
- Experience in role bindings, Kafka topics (definition properties such as retention, partitions, etc.), replicators, sink connectors, source connectors, HTTP connectors, and JDBC connectors.
- Experience in setting up disaster recovery (DR) platforms.
