Key Responsibilities
- Promote Specialty Care Brands in the field of Cardiovascular by delivering scientific messages to Health Care Professionals.
- Accountable for achieving sales objectives of assigned brands in Gulf markets.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and creative tactics to meet business goals.
- Conduct customer profiling and segmentation to define and prioritize target accounts.
- Ensure accountability for achieving mutually agreed business targets by executing tailored plans across distinct segments.
- Build and maintain strong business partnerships with key stakeholders, including physicians, pharmacists, hospital store managers, and purchasing, finance, and supply departments.
- Demonstrate expertise in the marketplace, therapeutic area, product knowledge, and disease understanding.
- Develop account business plans that align with market and customer business needs.
- Support the formulary enlisting process and implement tactical plans for scaling product penetration in coordination with access, medical, and marketing teams.
- Track and monitor portfolio performance, analyzing data to identify growth opportunities and optimize stock management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members to identify and address customer needs urgently.
- Oversee the ordering cycle for all portfolio products for local purchasing and tenders.
- Collect market intelligence data for assessing company operations and suggesting action plans.
- Liaise with local distributors and internal departments to ensure timely supply and stock availability.
- Support pre-launch and launch activities of new products as required.
- Ensure compliance with Standards of Business Conduct and Ethics at all times.
Qualifications & Experience
- Holds a Pharmacy or Medicine Degree.
- At least 5 years of experience in a multinational pharmaceutical company, with experience in specialty care brands.
- Cardiovascular experience is preferred.
- UAE market experience is mandatory; experience in other Gulf markets is highly desirable.
Skills
- Ability to acquire and convey scientific information effectively.
- Strong knowledge of customer segmentation and targeting processes.
- Expertise in resource allocation across multiple customer segments.
- Proven history of working with Thought Leaders and industry experts.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and fluency in English.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with internet tools and email.
