As a Key Quality Operator - MCB, you are responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of PCBA products throughout the production process. You perform in-line inspections, validate process controls, and lead quality assurance activities to maintain high standards. This role requires advanced knowledge of PCBA manufacturing, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to quality management. Prior experience in PCBA production quality control is essential. You are responsible to monitor, inspect, and control the quality of PCBA production processes and outputs, ensuring adherence to specifications, standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You’ll Do:

  • Supervise and lead quality inspectors and work closely with them for testing activities.
  • Conduct in-line and final inspections of PCBA units for defects, alignment, solder quality, and component placement.
  • Verify compliance with IPC standards and customer specifications.
  • Monitor process parameters and identify deviations or risks to product quality.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues.
  • Document inspection results and maintain traceability records.
  • Coordinate with production, quality operators, engineering, and quality teams to resolve issues.
  • Support audits and implement quality control plans.
  • Train production staff on quality standards and inspection techniques.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and ESD-safe inspection area.
  • Drive continuous improvement in quality assurance processes and product reliability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics or Instrumentation or Electrical Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in PCBA or Electronics components manufacturing quality control.

Skills:

  • Practical experience in inspection, process validation, and quality documentation.
  • Strong understanding of PCBA manufacturing processes and quality standards.
  • Proficiency in IPC-A-610 and other relevant inspection criteria.
  • Ability to use microscopes, AOI systems, inspection instruments, and measurement tools.
  • Knowledge of ESD safety procedures and defect classification.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and documentation practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
  • Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
