About the Job:
AstraZeneca is seeking a Commercial IT & Digital Solutions Lead for its Biopharma Business Unit in Saudi Arabia. This role is pivotal in driving the digital transformation agenda with a focus on improving patient outcomes. The successful candidate will act as a strategic partner, translating healthcare and commercial priorities into effective digital solutions.

The position encompasses defining and executing the digital roadmap, leading end-to-end project management, and fostering innovation through technologies like AI, machine learning, and telehealth. This role requires collaboration with global, regional, and local teams to ensure the alignment of digital initiatives with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build strong relationships with business stakeholders to align digital solutions with business needs.
• Lead project management through planning, development, testing, deployment, and monitoring of digital solutions.
• Ensure compliance with governance, data privacy, and cybersecurity standards.
• Promote a culture of digital excellence and adoption across teams.

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field, Digital Health, Healthcare Management, or related discipline.
• 7–10 years of experience in digital transformation or technology roles, preferably within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies and digital health solutions is essential.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is advantageous.
