KSA CIT & Digital Solution Lead, OBU & RDU

AstraZeneca is seeking a Commercial IT & Digital Solutions Lead to drive digital transformation within the Oncology and Rare Disease therapy areas in Saudi Arabia. This role involves serving as a strategic digital partner, translating healthcare and commercial priorities into impactful digital solutions that improve patient and business outcomes. Key responsibilities include defining and executing the digital roadmap, overseeing the end-to-end delivery of digital initiatives, and ensuring alignment between global, regional, and local strategies. The ideal candidate will champion innovation using technologies such as AI, machine learning, VR/AR, telehealth, and wearables, while managing vendor relationships and ensuring compliance with governance and cybersecurity standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build relationships with business stakeholders to translate needs into digital solutions.
• Define and execute the digital roadmap in alignment with business priorities.
• Lead project management from planning to deployment and go-live.
• Monitor solution utilization and guide for maximized adoption.
• Ensure compliance with organizational governance and cybersecurity standards.

Essential Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field, Digital Health, Healthcare Management, or related discipline (Master’s is desirable).
• 7–10 years of experience in digital transformation, preferably in the pharma or life sciences industry.
• Proven ability to develop and execute digital roadmaps and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Fluency in English required; Arabic is an advantage.
