L2 Application Support Engineer

The company is seeking an L2 Application Support Engineer to collaborate with the software development team to design, code, and test software solutions, focusing on maintaining critical components. Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with senior team members to meet project requirements and deadlines, actively participating in design and code reviews.
• Contributing to troubleshooting and problem-solving in software development by diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues.
• Participating in the development and documentation of software requirements and specifications.
• Debugging and resolving complex production issues, collaborating with senior engineers and support teams.
• Staying updated on emerging technologies and best practices, researching and proposing innovative solutions.
• Assisting in mentoring and guiding junior team members, sharing knowledge and expertise.
• Taking ownership of challenging technical tasks and collaborating on architectural decisions.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (i.e., Computer Science) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Typically, 4+ years of relevant work experience in the industry, with a minimum of 1+ years in a similar role.
• Proficiency in one or more software languages and development methodologies.
• Proficiency in coding and debugging complex software components.
• Familiarity with software development practices and methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to challenging technical tasks.

Other Qualifications:

• An advanced degree in a related field is a plus.
• Relevant certifications or training are a plus.
