Key Responsibilities:

Server Management:
- Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers
- Administer server performance and ensure user availability
- Apply updates, patches, and configuration changes
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
- Manage user accounts and access controls

Storage Management:
- Manage SAN (Storage Area Network) and NAS (Network Attached Storage) environments
- Ensure data redundancy and recoverability through regular backups and disaster recovery procedures
- Configure and manage data replication and snapshots
- Monitor storage performance and capacity, scaling resources as needed

Network Services:
- Administer services related to servers such as DNS, DHCP, file servers, and print servers
- Manage connectivity and performance issues related to storage networks

Security Management:
- Implement security measures for server and storage systems to protect sensitive data
- Coordinate with security teams to audit and address vulnerabilities
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational IT policies

Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of server and storage systems' configurations and architectures
- Prepare regular reports on system status, incidents, and resolutions
- Document troubleshooting and problem resolution steps

Incident and Problem Management:
- Provide second-level support for incidents and problems in server and storage systems
- Collaborate with L1 support and other IT teams to resolve complex issues
- Escalate unresolved issues to L3 support or external vendors as necessary

Continuous Improvement:
- Recommend improvements to existing server and storage systems to enhance performance, reliability, and scalability
- Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for hardware or software upgrades
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Proven experience (8+ years) in a technical support role, preferably in Server and Storage technology
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Relevant certifications (MCSA, MCSD, MCSE, Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert)
- Strong knowledge of VxRAIL HCI from DELL, Huawei storage, and DELL PowerProtect DataManager
- Familiarity with operating systems such as Microsoft Windows and Linux (CentOS, Rocky, SUSE, etc.)
- Knowledge of LDAP, TCP/IP, NFS, SAN, and High-Performance Networking
