Position

The company is seeking an L2 Operation & Support Engineer to join their team focused on the company CDI/MCS products, specifically On-Demand Connectivity (ODC) and eUICC IoT Manager (eIM). The successful candidate will utilize their software engineering skills to build, maintain, support, and optimize mission-critical, cloud-native systems and applications, ensuring that our ODC & eIM solutions are reliable, scalable, and performant.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Infrastructure & Automation: Design, develop, and automate infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles. Maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
  • Cloud Operations: Install, configure, and manage Kubernetes-based solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • System Reliability: Manage production systems with a "you build it, you run it" mindset, including real-time system monitoring and incident response.
  • Integration & Support: Serve as a technical bridge between development, validation, and customers, participating in a 24/7 onsite support team.
  • Documentation: Prepare technical documentation and customer acceptance plans to promote continuous process improvement.
  • Team Collaboration: Contribute to team growth through knowledge sharing and technical training.

Job Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
  • Experience: 4+ years in systems administration or integration engineering with a focus on critical production systems.
  • Cloud & Orchestration: Advanced knowledge of public cloud (preferably GCP), Kubernetes, and container orchestration technologies.
  • Automation & Scripting: Proficient in Bash, Python, or Perl, with experience in Terraform and Helm.
  • Linux: Minimum 3 years of advanced Linux experience.
  • Networking: Strong understanding of networking protocols and concepts.
  • APIs: Deep knowledge of HTTP(S), SOAP, and REST APIs.
  • Databases: Hands-on experience with Cassandra and MySQL.
  • Preferred Telecom Domain Experience: Familiarity with eSIM technologies and telecommunications infrastructure.
  • Development Background: Experience in Java is highly preferred.
