L3 Data Classification Engineer

As an L3 Data Classification Engineer, you will own the enterprise data classification program utilizing Fortra Titus as the primary platform. Your responsibilities will include designing the label taxonomy, engineering enforcement across Windows and Microsoft 365 applications, integrating classification metadata with Forcepoint DLP and Seclore DRM, driving user adoption, and ensuring evidence and change hygiene are aligned. You will act as the final escalation point for classification issues, mentor L2 engineers, and lead audits for Data Security controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and maintain the classification taxonomy and publish it through Titus Policy Manager.
• Engineer user-driven and automatic classification in Office/Outlook with necessary prompts and enforcement.
• Map and align Titus fields with Microsoft sensitivity labels as needed.
• Integrate Titus metadata into Forcepoint DLP detection and actions to improve policy efficacy.
• Lead classification-related P1/P2 incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive changes.
• Prepare audit-ready documentation and maintain compliance with data security regulations.

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years in data protection, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience with Fortra Titus DCS at an enterprise scale.
• Proven experience integrating Forcepoint DLP and Seclore DRM.
• Strong knowledge of Windows/O365 administration and ITIL Change/Incident management.
• Ability to collaborate across various teams including Data Protection, Email, Endpoint, and Security Operations Center (SOC).

• Proficiency in English is required.

Work Conditions: Full-time, on-site (Sun–Thu, business hours) with occasional change windows and P1 escalation support.
