L3 F5 Application Security Engineer

The L3 F5 Application Security Engineer is responsible for delivering expert-level support for F5 Access Policy Manager, F5 Web Application Firewall, and Infoblox DNS Security solutions. This role provides 9x5 support and acts as the escalation point for critical issues, ensuring the integrity, performance, and security of application delivery and DNS environments. The ideal candidate will leverage deep technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve complex security incidents while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance overall system resilience and security posture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Support & Incident Management: Provide expert-level 9x5 support for F5 Access Policy Manager, F5 Web Application Firewall, and Infoblox DNS Security environments. Act as the L3 escalation point for critical incidents, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
• System Configuration & Maintenance: Configure, monitor, and maintain F5 security devices. Implement and manage policies for Access Policy Manager and Web Application Firewall.
• DNS Security & Infoblox Management: Manage Infoblox DNS Security solutions and enforce DNS security policies.
• Security & Compliance: Ensure adherence to security policies and compliance requirements. Collaborate with security teams for vulnerability assessments and audits.
• Collaboration & Documentation: Work with network, application, and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot issues. Maintain documentation on configurations and incident resolutions. Provide training to support teams.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in network and application security, focusing on F5 technologies and DNS security.
• Proven expertise in managing F5 Access Policy Manager and F5 Web Application Firewall solutions.
• Strong understanding of networking and security protocols.
• Experience in incident response and system monitoring in high-availability environments.

• Relevant F5 certifications (e.g., F5 Certified Administrator) are highly desirable.
