Responsibilities
- Lead level “hands on” work experience in support of installations, repair, and troubleshooting or maintenance of communications systems or equipment.
- Solve complex problems, understand the interrelationships of circuits, and exercise independent judgment in performing tasks in support of communications systems or equipment.
- Supervise and manage shop practices, ensuring efficient operations.
- Install and maintain various Land Mobile Radio Equipment including communications consoles, repeaters, hand-held radios (XTS-5000 and others), trunked and non-trunked systems, key loaders, antennas, and more.
- Utilize test equipment such as service monitors, oscilloscopes, multimeters, frequency counters, and spectrum analyzers for effective troubleshooting.
- Oversee LMR shop operations, including equipment tracking databases.
Requirements
- Education: AA/AS degree.
- Experience: 3+ years of related experience, including supervision and shop practices.
- Security Clearance: Secret clearance level, must be obtained if not currently possessed.
- Skills and Abilities:
- Expert-level experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of Motorola and Land Mobile Radio Equipment.
- Must be qualified to install LMR base stations, repeaters, and mobile radios.
- Must have experience in large-scale LMR shop management.
- Familiarity with site controllers, digital recording equipment, and over-the-air keying equipment.
- Location: On Customer Site, International.
- US Citizenship Required.

Compensation
The likely hourly rate for this position is between $33.97 - $34.70, though actual salary will be set based on experience, geographic location, and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
Travel Required: Less than 10%
