What You'll Be Doing:
- Provide front line project-specific support to design teams.
- Create landscape BIM models and drawings within Revit/Civil 3D to fulfill client requirements from LOD 100 to LOD 350.
- Utilize Clash Detection processes using Navisworks/Revizto.
- Prepare Landscape drawings consisting of general arrangements, grading plans, layouts, details, etc., from rough sketches and/or general engineering and design information according to established standards and procedures.
- Develop and maintain CAD and BIM libraries to continually advance the platforms' efficiency and utilization.
- Ensure compliance with technical manuals, codes, and company policies.
- Familiarize with various standards and codes, including ISO 19650 and BS 1192.
- Compile data and perform dimensional and routine calculations for Landscape drawings.
- Read orthographic (2D) and/or isometric (3D) designs and supplier/manufacturer drawings.
- Provide ongoing training for existing users on CAD, Revit, and Civil 3D.
- Assist with the creation of CAD/BIM standards and the implementation of these throughout the firm.
- Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as appropriate.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering/Architecture/Landscape/Urban Planning/Urban Design from an accredited institution.
- Minimum three (3) years of demonstrable BIM/CAD design production experience in a multi-disciplinary environment, preferably in landscape projects.
- In-depth working knowledge of Autodesk products, including AutoCAD, Civil3D, and Revit, with proficiency in BIM/CAD processes.
- Experience with BIM/CAD instruction and training.
- Fluent in English, with strong oral and written communication skills.
- Mandatory computer skills and the ability to utilize design software.
