Last Mile Learning Specialist

We’re expanding our Learning team within the company Operations! The Last Mile Learning Specialist works with Operations Managers, Area Managers, and associates, constantly improving the long-term capabilities of the area to which he/she is assigned.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be comfortable talking in front of a group as well as one-on-one, and be able to give and receive feedback effectively. They should be goal-oriented, meet time commitments and deadlines, and provide valuable insights to area managers.

Responsibilities:

• Measure Associate performance around Safety, Quality, and Productivity; apply learning tools to improve operation metrics.
• Improve associates' job-related skills; develop, maintain, and apply learning tools (methods, checklists, and skill-building agreements) to encourage associate development.
• Assist in driving the success of peak and non-peak training plans.

The Learning Specialist will achieve this objective by:

• Executing all standard trainer tasks as outlined on Trainer Standard Work Checklist.
• Delivering network standard technical training.
• Partnering with Operations Leaders to evaluate and improve training processes within work areas.
• Directly coaching associates to improve job performance.
• Managing training compliance to ensure accurate training records are housed correctly.
