Last Mile Learning Specialist

The Last Mile Learning Specialist works with Operations Managers, Area Managers, and associates, constantly improving the long-term capabilities of the area to which they are assigned.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be comfortable speaking in front of groups and one-on-one, and be able to give and receive feedback effectively. They should have the ability to follow up and meet time commitments and deadlines, be goal-oriented, and provide insight to area managers. A dedication to the success of others, a constant "customer obsessed" mindset, and a positive "can do" attitude that appreciates teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Measure associate performance around Safety, Quality, and Productivity.
• Apply learning tools to improve operation metrics.
• Improve associates' job-related skills; develop, maintain, and apply learning tools (methods, checklists, and skill building agreements) to encourage associate development.
• Assist in driving the success of peak and non-peak training plans.
• Execute all standard trainer tasks as outlined on Trainer Standard Work Checklist.
• Deliver network standard technical training.
• Partner with Operations Leaders to evaluate and improve training processes within work areas.
• Directly coach associates to improve job performance.
• Manage training compliance to ensure accurate training records are housed correctly.
