We are seeking an experienced and innovative Lead AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy enterprise-grade AI-powered products and platforms. This role, situated within the AI Studio, focuses on developing scalable LLM applications, AI agents, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)-based systems. The ideal candidate will have strong engineering foundations coupled with deep expertise in Generative AI, leading teams, and ensuring production-ready AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deploy LLM-powered applications including RAG systems and AI agents.
- Develop scalable backend systems using Python (FastAPI, Flask, Django).
- Architect distributed systems and event-driven applications.
- Build optimized AI workflows and multi-step agent systems.
- Establish best practices for AI model evaluation and monitoring.
- Comply with policies related to Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE), Information Security, and Compliance Management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, including AI/ML systems.
- Strong programming expertise in Python and modern backend frameworks.
- Proven ability to build and deploy production-grade AI/ML systems.
- Deep understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), RAG, and AI agents.
- Hands-on experience with AI orchestration frameworks and cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
- Strong understanding of API design, security, and system integrations.
Ideally, You’ll Also Have:
- Experience fine-tuning foundation models and exposure to multimodal AI systems.
- Knowledge of MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Contributions to open-source or personal AI projects.
