Position

Job Code: 12767
Reports to: Head of Connect
Division/Section: Tech & Digital
Role Purpose: Provide strong technical, programmatic, and business leadership in all aspects of NEOM Connect business
Responsibilities:
- Provide architectural leadership and direction in the domain of fixed Networks
- Deliver architecture services covering domains of Optical Transport, Network Modelling, DWDM, OTN, SDN, and automation for services provisioning
- Develop fixed network architectures at a region, asset, and building level
- Develop architecture templates for solution delivery across NEOM based on different categories of entities and assets
- Establish architectural models working with other utility providers such as power and water for sharing of network assets
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and execute the Fixed Network architecture for NEOM
- Establish the roadmap for deployment of required components for delivering Fixed Network architecture
Solution Development and Delivery:
- Serve as the technical expert representative across teams responsible for delivery of fixed Network solutions
- Formulate and review specifications and policies for the purchase of technical equipment
Operational Solutions:
- Identify and architect operational management systems to ensure delivery of expected results
- Ensure all measures are in place to enforce security and integrity of data and information held in the business’ information system
Relationship Management:
- Support engagement with other telecommunication providers as part of network inter-connectivity
- Support engagement and services structure with enterprise managed network service providers
Background, Skills & Qualifications:
- An ambitious technical lead with 15+ years of experience in Network Fabric architecture
- Extensive experience in leading Network Fabric infrastructure development
- Highly developed analytical skills and critical thinking
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
- In-depth understanding of IT/engineering terminology in Networking and Telecommunications
