Main Duties/Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex projects independently, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project goals.
- Document detailed business requirements in internally approved systems using Scaled Agile Methodology (composing Epics).
- Engage with senior business leads to understand new project scope, creating detailed scope statements as required for the portfolio and project intake process.
- Document and oversee system integration requirements involving legacy platforms and third-party solutions while acting as a liaison between business units and technology teams.
- Build extensive knowledge of business operations to analyze current work procedures and practices.
- Investigate, evaluate, and report alternative solutions to business needs, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and enterprise architecture guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with IT Business Systems Analysts to ensure business processes align with technology solutions.
- Participate in systems analysis design sessions as needed.
- Lead the user acceptance testing (UAT) process, overseeing execution and ensuring thorough validation of business requirements. Monitor and track UAT defects while coordinating with the QA test team for defect remediation.
Experience/Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, information management, or a related discipline. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- 5-10 years of business analysis experience, preferably in the insurance or financial services sector, with a proven track record of leading complex projects.
- Extensive experience in the analysis and interpretation of business requirements across all aspects of transacting insurance or financial services business.
- In-depth understanding of the UAE insurance market and regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting professionally with a diverse group, including executives and subject matter experts.
- Proven ability to lead the analysis and support of the production of project proposals or business cases.
- Expertise in business process re-engineering and optimization.
- Experience creating user acceptance testing documentation and leading the UAT process.
- Must be a proactive self-starter capable of planning and leading work sessions with minimal oversight.
- Advanced proficiency in business analysis techniques such as process modeling, root cause analysis, data modeling, process mapping, and traceability.
- Deep knowledge and experience in the Scaled Agile Framework and Agile methodologies.

- Strong problem identification and solving skills with knowledge of the Scaled Agile framework. Six Sigma certifications are a plus.
- Advanced data analysis and interpretation and critical thinking abilities.
