Are you passionate about working with large datasets and telling exciting stories through data? Do you enjoy "interrogating" the numbers in your quest for facts? If so, you might be the person we are searching for!

We’re on the hunt for a Lead Business Intelligence Analyst who’s ready to take our People Analytics game from great to exceptional. You will be part of the HR Strategy, Transformation & Digital function, based in Doha, Qatar, supporting a newly established HRBI team on an exciting mission.

Your mission?

  • Supercharge HR decision-making by creating and maintaining insightful dashboards and deep-dive analytics.
  • Collaborate internally and externally to centralize HR data across all business functions and over a variety of robust HR systems into our Data Warehouse.
  • Work with massive datasets to uncover trends in hiring, attrition, mobility, and more.
  • Shape the future of People Analytics by integrating AI-driven insights, forecasting, and automation.
  • Be a trusted advisor to our stakeholders, delivering insights that can influence major workforce strategies.

What makes this role exciting?

  • Your work will be seen by 500+ colleagues, including our leadership.
  • You’ll build and improve real-time dashboards that make an impact.
  • You’ll have the freedom to innovate and express your creativity.
  • You’ll be relied upon to act independently in delivering game-changing projects.

Your input will help shape decisions that affect over 60,000 employees worldwide. The opportunities to grow and build your skills and experience are vast and only limited by your imagination.

About you

  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer/Data Science, Engineering, or Economics.
  • You have at least 4 years of relevant experience with large-scale, complex datasets, focusing on data visualization, reporting, and analytics.
  • You are proficient in SQL, able to write, read, optimize, and execute queries to extract, transform, join, analyze, and automate data.
  • You have strong knowledge and experience with data visualization tools (MS Power BI, Tableau) and productivity tools (MS Excel Power Queries).
  • You possess high-level critical thinking skills and are comfortable with numbers, statistics, and data modelling tools with a keen eye for details.
  • You can develop training materials and conduct end-user training sessions, simplifying complex relations for your audience.
  • You prioritize teamwork and are a strong team player willing to assist others.
  • You are not afraid to voice your opinions based on facts derived from your analysis, presented in a compelling storytelling narrative.

We are especially excited about candidates who:

  • Have experience working with large datasets in fast-paced environments, particularly related to people data and metrics.
  • Have worked at a large airline or an organization with 10,000+ FTEs, ideally in managing BI tools and/or data warehouse/data governance projects.
  • Have experience with Cloud technologies and leveraging AI/ML features (GCP, Azure).
  • Are skilled in automation, coding, and/or programming related to data analytics (e.g., Python).
  • Can demonstrate experience in applying and understanding Data Governance principles.
  • Have completed additional education/certification geared toward Machine Learning, Business Intelligence, AI, Mathematics, or Statistics.

Puzzle: A company has 10,000 employees who, on average, spend 5 hours per month in meetings, per employee. 10% of the company never has a single hour of meeting. Based on the above, how many hours can be expected to be spent on meetings across the company annually?

Include this statement in the footer of your CV: "The answer to the HRBI puzzle is ____." If you get it right, you are already ahead!

About the company Group Our story started with four aircraft. Today, we deliver excellence across multiple businesses. We’ve grown fast, broken records, and set trends that others follow. Now is the time to bring your best ideas and passion to a place where your ambition will know no boundaries, and be part of a truly global community.
