Responsibilities:
- Define and own the programme reference architecture, principles, and design standards across all workstreams.
- Lead architecture governance through Architecture Review Boards, design authority forums, and stage gate assessments.
- Produce and maintain Architecture Decision Records, and architecture artefacts.
- Govern technical risks, dependencies, and architecture-level decisions across the programme.
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of architects.
- Collaborate with government security authorities and senior client stakeholders.
- Translate strategic business objectives into scalable architectural decisions.
- Define and validate non-functional requirements covering performance and scalability.
Profile Requirements:
- 12+ years of experience in enterprise or solution architecture, including 5+ years in government or defence programmes.
- Proven experience leading architecture governance.
- Strong understanding of Secure-by-Design principles in classified environments.
- Experience with Tier-1 defence contractors or Ministry of Defence programmes.
- Deep expertise in AWS, Azure, or Oracle Cloud, including identity federation and network segmentation.
- Knowledge of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, MoDAF, or DODAF.
- Strong understanding of Zero Trust Architecture.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with GCC or KSA government programmes.
- Familiarity with Saudi NCA or UAE IA cybersecurity frameworks.
- Active or recent SC, DV, or NATO SECRET clearance.
- Professional working proficiency in Arabic.
- Relevant certifications such as TOGAF or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
