Position

As a Lead Connectivity Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing project scope, technical risks, and requirements to define project-level test strategies. Your role involves deploying sophisticated software and electronic testing solutions to ensure efficient verification of requirements. You will design and lead comprehensive test strategies and plans, overseeing their execution, including robot behaviors and AI/ML intelligence features. Adapting plans as project scope or architecture evolves, you will identify unique testing needs for new technologies like IoT and machine learning. Your responsibilities also include identifying technical problems in testing, designing solutions to resolve them, and assessing third-party suppliers' test strategies, processes, and software quality metrics. You will define quality criteria and acceptance standards for third-party deliverables, collaborating with third-party engineers or QA leads to ensure alignment with the company standards. Additionally, you will drive integration testing plans for seamless component integration and hold suppliers accountable for agreed quality benchmarks.

Key Skills/Experience:

  • A degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with embedded systems, IoT, or real-time operating systems.
  • Strong knowledge of AI/ML with experience in testing complex challenges involving multi-layered data sets.
  • Proficient programming abilities, particularly in Python.
  • Attention to detail, exceptional communication abilities, and the capacity to thrive independently in a fast-paced setting.
  • Well-versed in Agile software engineering development and the software security development lifecycle.
  • Experience with testing IoT products, including embedded software, apps, cloud, and data analytics.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
