The Digital Business Development Lead plays a vital role in developing and implementing digital solutions that align with the organization’s digital strategy and objectives. This position involves identifying and cultivating strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including technology vendors and industry partners. The Lead will provide leadership and guidance to software development teams, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders is essential to track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to software development initiatives, thus optimizing performance to achieve business objectives.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise to the development team, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of development projects, including defining project scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Drive the architectural design and technical approach for development projects, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Conduct code reviews, ensuring code quality and adherence to coding standards, and implement quality assurance processes.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, encouraging knowledge sharing, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including product managers, business analysts, and clients, to understand requirements and priorities; communicate project progress and technical solutions effectively.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks and challenges, proactively addressing issues to ensure project success.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, architectural diagrams, and code documentation, to support knowledge transfer and future maintenance.
- Evaluate new technologies and tools, making recommendations for adoption to improve development processes and outcomes.
- Identify performance bottlenecks, optimizing code and infrastructure to improve application performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with the Enterprise Architect to align platforms and strengthen architecture pillars, particularly those linked to business needs such as Information and Application architecture.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimization, tooling enhancements, and automation, to increase efficiency in development processes.
- Ensure adherence to the demand intake process, establishing a strong business case to support annual work planning and implementation.
- Manage the end-to-end solution delivery for the product group according to agile methodologies, ensuring quality at each stage, timely issue resolution, and user satisfaction.
- Lead the team to achieve functional objectives, setting and reviewing objectives, conducting regular meetings, and providing performance feedback to maximize team performance.
- Review and provide feedback on prioritized business, functional, and technical requirements based on expertise.
- Support immediate technology priorities, innovation proofs of concept and trials, and recommend areas for research and development within the Innovation Hub.
- Coordinate product-level issues and escalate to the solution delivery manager as required to manage stakeholder engagement effectively.
ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 10 years of experience in product development, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Languages: English (mandatory), Arabic (preferred), French (preferred).
SKILLS & NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE
- Hands-on experience in Solution Architectures, particularly cloud solutions such as Azure.
- Proficient in solution design and UML modeling.
- Knowledgeable in various application platforms, including web, desktop, and mobile.
- Familiar with SDLC methodologies including waterfall, agile, and DevOps; at least 5 full cycle project implementations required.
- Experience with JAVA frameworks.
- Senior-level experience in SAP solutions, including ABAP, PI/PO, ERP, NetWeaver, SAP BPM.
- Proficient in APIs (WS, RS), Artificial Intelligence, Integration, and Machine Learning.
- Project management experience is advantageous.
