Lead Engineer – Architect

About the Job:
Parsons is seeking a talented Lead Engineer – Architect to join our team! This role is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of all phases of detailed design projects. The Lead Engineer – Architect will collaborate closely with the Lead Designer and/or Design Director, guiding the analysis, synthesis, and recommendation of conceptual design alternatives for landscape architecture projects.

Work Conditions:
On-site, Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Review design drawings and specifications for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with project requirements.
• Validate design calculations, ensuring technical alignment with industry standards.
• Approve equipment and component submittals in coordination with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) staff.
• Provide architectural quality assurance during construction phases and support commissioning activities as required.
• Serve as the primary point of contact with clients, ensuring clear communication and project alignment.
• Contribute to technical proposals, estimating levels of effort, work plans, and schedules as needed.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture from a recognized university.
• Minimum of 18 years of experience in master planning, urban design, and project execution.
• Proven experience in managing teams within established architecture/engineering firms or client-side organizations.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of successfully delivering projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
