Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Non-Conformities and resolve technical issues with a sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Serve as the technical reference point for Field and Project engineers, assisting in promptly addressing technical issues reported from Project sites.
  • Oversee the collection and sharing of Engineering Lessons Learned across different projects.
  • Manage and assist in troubleshooting issues of products including heavy-duty gas turbines, centrifugal and reciprocating compressors, electric motors, gearboxes, and auxiliary systems.
  • Collaborate with various internal Engineering disciplines to effectively lead and manage issue resolutions.
  • Prepare and review technical documentation such as trip investigation reports, Root Cause Analysis, and corrective and preventive action plans, ensuring effective communication with the broader team.
  • Adapt to various Commissioning team internal processes concerning Design Reviews, Quality, and Safety procedures while meeting defined KPIs.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics/Electrical or equivalent Engineering degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Have knowledge and hands-on experience with Control Systems such as MarkVIe, MarkVIeS SIL System, Proficy Machine Edition, PLCs, and DCS.
  • Possess the ability to interpret control logics and troubleshoot operational issues of the systems.
  • Have experience in interpreting Engineering & Technical documents like Process & Instrument Diagrams (P&ID) and wiring diagrams.
  • Bring a minimum of 7 years of technical experience on control systems and rotating machinery, particularly working at Project sites.
  • Be knowledgeable about the company Heavy-duty Gas Turbines or Centrifugal compressors operation.
  • Have fluency in English with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Be flexible to travel to different sites.

Desired Characteristics

  • Good understanding of Project engineering roles and responsibilities, including document management, non-conformity management, and FMEA preparation and execution.
  • Operational knowledge of heavy-duty gas turbines, centrifugal compressors, and their relevant auxiliary systems.
  • Passionate and enthusiastic about working in fast-paced, challenging, and dynamic environments.
  • Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage proactively and take initiative.
  • Possess the ability to work across multi-functional and global teams.
  • Demonstrate the ability to influence others and lead small teams.
