In the role of Lead Engineer Cabin Interior, you will support the Manager, Technical Services In-Flight Entertainment & Connectivity to ensure that the company fleet is safe, compliant, reliable, on-time, and defect-free. You will act as a subject matter expert for Cabin Interiors systems, leading a team of specialists and managing mechanical and electrical/electronic defect resolution.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering specialized technical solutions aligned with organizational goals.
  • Leading day-to-day operations and ensuring airworthiness compliance through strategic implementation of Airworthiness Directives, mandatory modifications, Service Bulletins, and STCs.
  • Collaborating with maintenance teams for rapid resolutions to complex technical challenges and maintaining strategic partnerships with vendors, OEMs, manufacturers, and MROs.
  • Creating comprehensive procedural documentation and integrating user feedback with technical solutions to ensure high system performance.

This position is critical for enhancing passenger comfort and cabin systems reliability as the company strives to become one of the world's leading service brands.

Requirements

  • A degree in Aviation, Engineering, or a relevant field.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in Commercial Aviation Engineering within a Part-CAMO environment.
  • In-depth expertise in Technical Services for Cabin Interiors solutions and experience leading cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Proven track record in aircraft modifications, upgrade programs, and OEM technical support.
  • Strong project management skills and excellent supplier/manufacturer relationship management abilities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate, influence, and persuade across teams and stakeholders.
  • Preferred experience includes hands-on airline operations, familiarity with AMOS as a Maintenance Information System (MIS), and a passion for integrating customer feedback into technical solutions.
