Lead Engineer - DevSecOps

As a Lead DevSecOps Engineer at the company, you will be responsible for integrating security practices into the DevOps lifecycle to ensure our AI products are secure, reliable, and compliant. Your role is crucial in bridging the gap between development, security, and operations, fostering a culture of security-first mindset while maintaining high efficiency and automation. You will collaborate with various teams to implement security measures, automate processes, and ensure the seamless deployment of AI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead a product, project, people practicing industry best practices in GenAi product build.
• Integrate security practices into the DevOps lifecycle, ensuring that security is a core component of the development, deployment, and operational processes.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines that incorporate automated security testing and compliance checks.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to identify and address security vulnerabilities and risks.
• Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) to ensure consistent and secure infrastructure deployment.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline security processes and enhance efficiency.
• Monitor and analyze system performance, security events, and logs to detect and respond to security incidents promptly.
• Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and penetration testing to ensure the integrity and security of AI solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices, incorporating them into the DevSecOps processes.
• Provide guidance and training to development and operations teams on security best practices and tools.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, implementing necessary controls and documentation.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and security-first mindset within the engineering and operations teams.
• Ensure the alignment of DevSecOps goals with the company's strategic objectives, driving the secure and efficient delivery of AI products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in DevSecOps, cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Ruby for automation and scripting.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, or Travis CI.
• Knowledge of configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes for managing containerized applications.
• Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with security tools and practices, including vulnerability scanners (e.g., Nessus, Qualys), SIEM systems, and compliance frameworks.
• Proficiency in IaC tools like Terraform/Bicep or AWS CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), or Splunk.
• Understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and security measures.
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted orchestration and autonomous agents to streamline infrastructure management, automate security compliance, and drive operational excellence.
