Role Overview:
The Lead Engineer – Infrastructure & Cloud Engineering provides technical leadership for the design, implementation, operation, and continuous evolution of large-scale private cloud, virtualization, container, and observability platforms across the company infrastructure environments. This role combines deep hands-on technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, driving platform strategy, architecture alignment, engineering standards, operational excellence, and adoption of emerging technologies across Infrastructure Engineering teams.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical design and implementation of large-scale private cloud and observability platforms.
- Define and drive engineering standards and operational best practices across infrastructure and cloud platforms.
- Provide mentorship to engineering teams and support technical decision-making.
- Drive the adoption of observability platforms and AI-assisted operations to improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with security and compliance teams to meet cybersecurity and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field; or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience in private cloud, virtualization, and infrastructure environments.
- Expertise in platforms such as OpenStack and Red Hat OpenShift.
- Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
- Proven experience with cloud environments, automation strategies, and Infrastructure as Code.
Language Requirements:
Fluency in English is preferred.
