Position Overview
The Hardware Engineering Lead (Infrastructure) is responsible for managing the selection, procurement, integration, and deployment of hardware systems across field and project environments. This role ensures compatibility with software requirements and oversees the seamless integration of hardware into broader system architectures. Reporting to the Senior Delivery Manager, the Hardware Lead plays a critical role in ensuring scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Identify and procure appropriate hardware solutions that meet project requirements, balancing performance, cost, and scalability.
- Oversee the integration of hardware systems to ensure compatibility with software platforms and project specifications.
- Diagnose and address hardware-related issues promptly, working with vendors and partners to implement effective solutions.
- Plan and manage hardware deployment activities in the field, ensuring compliance with project timelines and safety standards.
- Oversee change management processes related to edge installation and civil infrastructure, ensuring proper documentation, testing, and approval workflows.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external partners, and clients to align hardware requirements with project goals.
- Implement monitoring and evaluation protocols to ensure hardware systems perform optimally under operational conditions.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for hardware configurations, integration procedures, and issue resolution processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related Engineering field; advanced certifications or degrees preferred.
- Proven 5 years of experience in hardware selection, integration, and deployment for large-scale projects.
- Strong understanding of hardware-software integration and system scalability.
- Expertise in troubleshooting hardware issues and coordinating with vendors.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Kazakh, Russian, and English languages.
