Responsibilities
- Facilitate and lead workshops, including:
- HAZOP (Hazard and Operability Study)
- HAZID (Hazard Identification)
- SIL (Safety Integrity Level)
- LOPA (Layer of Protection Analysis)
- Bow-Tie Analysis
- SIMOPS (Simultaneous Operations)
- PHSER (Process Hazard and Safety Review)
- Constructability Reviews
- Review and validate third-party safety study reports and recommendations.
- Identify hazards and develop risk reduction measures.
- Ensure closure and tracking of workshop actions and recommendations.
- Manage and perform various safety assessments, including:
- Quantitative Risk Assessments (QRA)
- Fire and Explosion Risk Assessments (FERA)
- Escape, Evacuation and Rescue Analysis (EERA)
- Fire Protection and Explosion Protection Studies
- ESD (Emergency Shutdown) / PSD (Process Shutdown) System Reviews
- Cause & Effect Reviews
- Develop safety philosophies and safety design criteria.
Requirements
- Proven experience in technical safety engineering and risk assessment methodologies.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and guide teams towards safety objectives.
