About the Role
This position involves managing all resources and logistics necessary for performing services and maintenance activities on customer sites. These activities are crucial for maintaining, repairing, and refurbishing the company Power Conversion & Storage products, mainly focused on electrical rotating machines such as synchronous and induction motors and generators, along with excitation systems. The role encompasses all types of maintenance services, including preventive and remedial measures, managing maintenance facilities and field service engineering, and holding accountability for the quality of work performed. You will operate under direct supervision, following prescribed work instructions within a well-defined operations framework.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform on-site installation, commissioning, refurbishment, startup, and maintenance of equipment.
- Troubleshoot and upgrade synchronous and induction machines as well as excitation and AVR systems.
- Respond to requests for emergency repairs and services.
- Provide technical instruction and assistance to customer representatives concerning installation, operation, calibration, repair, and maintenance at customer sites.
- Prepare technical reports, order materials, secure quotations, and maintain thorough job status reports, time sheets, and expense sheets.
- Offer leadership and technical direction to skilled labor working on customer sites.
- Maintain a strong safety mindset to ensure that all executed work meets technical requirements within corporate safety standards.
- Prepare timely and accurate technical reports for customer records and future reference during outages.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of field maintenance experience with electrical motors and generators.
- Ability and willingness to travel approximately 80% of the time as required.
