Lead Forward Deployed Engineer

About the Role
The company is hiring Senior Forward Deployed Engineers — the Technical Builders responsible for designing, building, and deploying the most complex agentic AI solutions directly inside enterprise customer environments. In this role, you will lead technical delivery on your team, mentor the next wave of engineers, and set the engineering standards that define how agentic AI gets deployed at scale. Partnering closely with a Deployment Strategist, you will own outcomes from architecture decisions to production. The Senior Builder Experience

• Technical Ownership: Partner with a Deployment Strategist to own customer outcomes end-to-end, ensuring deliverables meet the highest engineering standards.
• AI-Supported Engineering: Utilize embedded AI tools in your daily workflow and propagate conventions and patterns developed through your work.
• Roadmap Influence: Provide field experience directly to Product and Engineering to help shape product evolution based on real customer environments.
• Continuous Innovation: Pilot emerging AI tools and share insights with your team and customers.

What You'll Actually Be Building

• Own end-to-end build and deployment of agentic AI solutions for the company's most strategic customers.
• Design and ship agentic systems on the Agentforce platform, including agent logic and integration patterns suitable for enterprise environments.
• Manage the data lifecycle for AI applications, including model design and processing pipelines.
• Resolve technical blockers and issues such as integration failures and performance regressions.
• Develop performance dashboards and KPI reporting for tracking deployment health across engagements.
• Create proofs-of-concept and MVPs, knowing which design decisions require precision.
• Codify learnings into reusable patterns and frameworks for the organization.
• Mentor other Engineers through code reviews and pair sessions, influencing their development within shared codebases.
• Surface insights from the field to Product and Engineering teams.
• Collaborate with the Deployment Strategist to transform complex customer challenges into effective agentic solutions.

You're Our Senior Forward Deployed Engineer If…

• You have 6+ years of software engineering or technical delivery experience in enterprise AI, cloud, or SaaS environments.
• You hold a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• You are proficient in at least one of the following: Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex.
• You have experience integrating LLMs into production and applying responsible AI practices.
• You possess deep knowledge of data modeling and analytics across platforms like the company's Data 360, Snowflake, or Databricks.
• You have expertise in the company's platform technologies: Agentforce, Apex, LWC, Flows, and APIs.
• You are entrepreneurial and focused on impactful delivery, with the ability to recognize when speed is not appropriate.
• You have experience mentoring and creating reusable technical assets.
• You can communicate clearly with engineering peers and executive stakeholders.
• You are passionate about exploring the evolving AI/data landscape.
• You are open to travel ~25% of the time to work closely with customer engineers.
• You possess business-level proficiency in Arabic and English.

Nice-to-Haves

• Certifications (Administrator, Platform Developer I/II, Agentforce Specialist, System Architect).
• Familiarity with DevOps/CI-CD practices and observability tooling.
• Experience architecting multi-cloud enterprise AI solutions for Global 500 customers.
• Track record of influencing software product roadmaps through field insights.
• Contributions to open source, published technical writing, or conference presentations.
